Aspen Massage Therapist Philosophy

I have been visiting Aspen Massage Therapist, Travis Andrews for a bit now as I prepare for my big race next week. The massage is great to help my legs recover from all of the mileage that I have been doing and today Travis shared an incredible insight with me.

While Travis was doing his work with me today, I shared with him that our sessions have pretty much been the highlight of my week these past few weeks. I get to relax, my legs get to feeling better, but I think for me the biggest benefit is that I can shut down for an hour or so completely for once during the week.

Of course, he was more than happy to hear that as he takes great pride in his art and in his business. However, it was after I told Travis that when he shared with me his philosophy on being a massage therapist that impressed me the most.

His belief is that when we works on a client and they leave feeling good, they take that good into the world with them and not only does it affect his client, it affects everyone that his client encounters for the rest of the day as well. He does not see just the one client he is working on benefiting, he sees his work having an impact on a grander scale.

Now that is a neat way of visualizing the overall impact of your business and what you do in a positive light. It definitely has made the rethink the impact of my life coaching business and what I do, that’s for certain.

So no matter what you do but especially if you have the opportunity to provide what might seem like just a positive benefit for one person… think of how your positive actions and energy can spread out from there. The good that you put into the world can have a much broader impact than you realize and that is something to keep in mind.
