Enthusiasm IS Contagious

Just as if hanging around with a bunch of grumpy and depressed people can bring you down, surrounding yourself with positive and cheerful people can lift you up because enthusiasm is contagious too!

Not only is enthusiasm contagious, the more you share it with others the better YOU will feel. You will feel better about your life, about your opportunities, and more importantly, you will feel better about other people and want to share your enthusiasm more. Being able to help others in maintaining their enthusiasm will in turn, increase yours!

Enthusiastic people smile more, walk with more of a spring in their step, and are much more likely to see setbacks and obstacles as merely challenges to overcome.

Just remember these three little steps if you are interested in making a positive impact in your life and the lives of others.

  1. Find what you love to do and are passionate about.
  2. Do what you love to do with passion and enthusiasm.
  3. Infect those around you with your enthusiasm. And don’t worry, if there isn’t anyone around you… trust me, if you are passionate and enthusiastic, your tribe WILL find you.

But what do you do if you are lacking in enthusiasm? Easy, find people who are enthusiastic about whatever they are doing and join them! And remember, negativity, cynicism, thinking like a victim, and refusing to embrace anything new all act as antidotes to enthusiasm and should be avoided at all costs.

Enthusiasm is contagious so be sure to share it – because if you are going to share something which would you rather it be, enthusiasm or negativity?
