Everything You Do Makes A Difference

One way or the other, every action that you take and everything you do makes a difference. The results might not be immediately obvious but there is always an impact.

Instead of throwing your hands up in frustration and saying “it is what it is,” or believing that everything is pointless, why not assume that everything you do makes a difference?

Because it does!

This is possibly the most significant way for you to have a positive impact not only on your life, but also in the world as a whole. Believe that you can make a difference and you will.

Live a life that you can be proud of and one in which you believe matters and makes a difference. Share your strengths and you weaknesses with the world, and make your contribution by being your authentic true self, because that is what the world really needs.

Fill the world with your positivity, your gratitude, and your enthusiasm. That alone will make a huge difference.

I believe that so many of us go though life unaware that our actions, no matter how small, have huge impacts. I remember back in the early 70’s… yeah that’s a long time ago… when it was a common practice for people to just throw trash out the car windows as they were going down the road.

Now if maybe one person did it, it would still be horrible, but with everyone throwing out just a little bit of trash along the roads everyday, our highways became completely littered with debris.

Soon that tide turned and people started realizing that having countryside of roads filled with litter was not a good thing. So small groups banded together and started cleaning up the roads. A few people, a little bit of action… a huge positive impact. Within a decade, littering which was almost socially acceptable ended up becoming a major taboo.

And it all started with a few people who believed they could make a difference. And they did.

Yes, we still have a litter problem in this country but it is not nearly as bad as it was. If you are looking for a way to make an impact? Take 30 minutes, grab a bag, and pick up.

Good or bad, everything you do makes a difference. What kind of difference do you want to make?
