The Right Mental Attitude

the right mental attitude“Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude.” – Thomas Jefferson

Your attitude determines everything and if you want a better life than the one you have now then you had better have the right mental attitude to go along with it.

Are you someone whom complains about everything? If you are unhappy in your job, do you blame the economy, insisting that you cannot find anything better? Do you fear and feel challenged by all changes in life? Do your continually resist anything that might be new or different? Lastly… when things do go wrong, are you the first to blame something or someone else?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions… an attitude adjust might be in order…

And it is more common than you might think… many times the issues that my clients face and the reason they are “stuck” often just comes down to their overall attitude towards something or just life in general. This is why I continually work with my clients to get them to focus on what they have vs. what they don’t have and help them to see what is going right instead of always seeing what is going wrong.

The good news is that it is so simple to change from having a less than stellar attitude in life to having the right mental attitude or a more positive one… all you have to do is make choice to do so… it’s really that simple.

You see… people with the right mental attitude live life with enthusiasm and have a lot of energy. They see opportunity to do great work in every chance they get. For them challenges are just that, challenges, and they push though every one that they encounter; and usually with a smile on their face while doing it!

Each one of these groups that I described has a different attitude about life and each one of these groups has chosen that attitude. It isn’t that one group has less or “better problems” or has it easier than the other… it is the choice on how those things are perceived that makes the difference between having a bad attitude or the right mental attitude.

You can allow your bad attitude to hold you forever stuck to the ground or you can can have the right mental attitude and fly as high as you dare to dream… in either case, it is your chosen attitude in life that determines the altitudes at which you operate.

Which group are you in?
