Unleash The Power Of Gratitude

It is difficult to be grateful when things are not going your way but when you unleash the power of gratitude there is no quicker way to turn things around back in your favor. I don’t believe there is anything as powerful or as effective as practicing gratitude to shift your mood, your emotions, your perspective, and your life.

It isn’t easy all the time but gratitude is always accessible. It requires you to make a real conscious effort to shift your thoughts in order to move your emotional set-point up the scale by event the slightest bit.

But practicing gratitude is like anything else… it takes practice! And as difficult as it might be at certain moments, it is the best way to get things moving in the right direction again be it physically, mentally, or emotionally.

Gratitude means thankfulness, counting your blessings, noticing simple pleasures, and acknowledging everything that you have in life. It means learning to live your life as if everything were a miracle, and being aware on a continuous basis of how much you’ve been given. Gratitude shifts your focus from what your life lacks to the abundance that your life contains. And it isn’t all wishy-washy fluff as psychological research has shown the surprising life improvements that can stem from the practice of gratitude.

You-cannot-experience

The bottom line is that giving thanks makes people happier and more resilient, it strengthens relationships, it improves health, and it reduces stress. If you believe in the Law of Attraction, you understand that gratitude raises your vibration and puts you more in line with the natural flow of life and well-being. Simply put, when you are grateful you attract more things to be grateful about.

Here is a challenge… Think for a second about how you feel right now on a scale of one to ten with ten being fabulous and outstanding. Then on a sheet of paper write out twenty things off the top of your head that you are grateful for. Once you are done with that, check in with yourself again on a scale of one to ten. How do you feel now? Was there any shift? I bet there was.

Once you become oriented towards and focus on things to be grateful for you will find that you begin to appreciate simple things that you previously took for granted. Start bringing gratitude to your experiences instead of waiting for a positive experience in order to feel grateful.

Unleash the power of gratitude and practice gratitude every day. You will be amazed at the difference it can make in all aspects of your life.

What do you think? Does practicing gratitude work? Has it helped you? Do you have a favorite “gratitude exercise” that you would like to share?
